A new problem arises

So as someone here may remember, I was having an issue (or so i though) with Java. Now my whole laptop is freaking out. I get errors when trying to send files to the recycle bin, trying to save files, trying to open iTunes, etc.

Error for sending to recycle bin:

An unexpected error is preventing this operation. Make a note of the error code which may be useful if you get additional help to resolve this problem. Error 0x80070571: The disc structure is corrupted and unreadable.

Opening iTunes:

The folder "iTunes" is on a locked disk or you do not have write permissions on this folder.

Error for saving things:

The disc structure is corrupted and unreadable.


Please dumb down any solutions for me if you can.

 

Issues like this are indicators of a possible malware infection. It could also be caused by some program(s) you have installed.

If you are CERTAIN your machine is clean, please post the details of your system; OS, anti virus and other security software, when this problem started, what is in your start up programs, etc.

Thanks. Im 100% it's clean (I don't download from places that aren't trusted and even then i check out all my downloads.)

This problem has been going on since yesterday, and im running windows Vista. Im not very bright with tech so i couldn't tell you my start up programs . Sorry.

 

Download Startup Standalone from HERE

Run and tell us what you see in your startup programs. Just take a screen shot and paste here.

To take the screen shot, open, maximize the window, press Crtl and Print Screen together.

Then open your Paint program, click on Edit, then paste.

Then name and save this file to your desktop.

To post it here, open a reply box, scroll down to mange attachments, then browse to your desktop, and upload the file from your desktop. :wave:wave:wave

 

I think I may have just inadvertently solved my issue. In any case, I am most definately bookmarking that link you gave me so I can utilize it if it turns out I haven't solved it. Is there a message feature on this site? You've been so helpful to me and I've only been here two days, so personally you'd be the first I'd go to if this starts up again.

I must say, I've never been on a forum with such a kind community.

 

I went to Major Geeks and this is what I got. It says "unable to download miniinstall en.exe rom www. pctools
This problem happene immediately after installing the Java version this afternoon.

 

I went to the Java site and found out that it is not compatible with windows 7 64 bit. Java's recommendation was to download the 32 bit version which I tried with the disc but it would not download either. I have a file backup, would it be easier for me to just reformat my drive and then download my windows 7, adobe and the rest. Once again the error code I get is 0x80070571 if this helps
