A one window ache

I have the internet exporer icon on my desktop, and can't open more than one window when I minimize the initial one to the address bar. When I open the first window, and say leave my homepage and go to another site, than minimize the first window to open another from the desk top. The second window, when I double click on the desk top IE icon, over-rides the first window (shifts to the left and replaces the first window). I went through a few options in the control panel "internet options", but don't want to mess with those allot, computers aren't exactly one of my strong points. Anybody with any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.....thanks.

this program sits "on top" of IE will eliminate your problem due to it's tabbed window feature. I use it and recommend it
