A question about NOD32 Virus Definition updates

Hi!

I just want to know if we can backup the updates of NOD32 (located in the
directory "updfiles" inside NOD32 installation folder.

I tried using it on a fresh installation and it didn't work, the signature database
version won't update.

And is there a way to download the updates as a package? If you look at the
options inside the servers for NOD32 update, you'll see something called nod_upd which
seems as a local directory from which you can update the definitions.
