Macrium Reflect will no longer offer a free edition for Home use. Current free edition 8.0.7279 is the final one, and won't be supported after Jan 31, 2024. Not sure if that means it can no longer be used, or just won't receive any more updates? Hopefully the latter.

[Edit to add]: There's no announcement on Macrium's website per se (no surprise) - I got the notification when I updated to 8.0.7279 from within the app.

Version 7 still works fine so 8 should too I think, but committed users will just have to pay up at some point. They have upgrade offers couple of times a year - might be best to grab the next one along. I got a four-pack a year ago for £51..

I suspect Macrium Free can still be used.

I actually use an extremely old version of Acronis True Image to image four Windows 7 computers about every 8 weeks. I made a 2nd boot CD and a 2nd bootable USB stick just in case the CD and stick I've been using goes bad.

Grab the last copy of Macrium Free and make a few bootable CDs and/or USB sticks to use.
