A simple fix it program

Hi guys,
I have a Sony Vaio FR315M and its getting to be a pain in the ass. Its overheating, the dvd player has more mood swings than a woman and the machine is generally getting more and more fustrating.

I have tried all the usual tricks, like reg cleaning, defragging etc but its not doing much good. Does anyone know of a nice simple bit of software that looks at your machine and tells you exactly whats buggered, why its buggered and how to fix it?

What, exactly, are the problems you are having?

If you think its overheating, then check your fan for operation. (If you already haven't)
When was the last time you ran your virus, malware, and spyware scans? In safe mode?
Is the HDD a issue? You can go to the manufactures site and download their test tools.

What OS?
how much ram?
What processor?
Have you looked in device manager for any conflicts?
Have you looked in event viewer for any errors and conflicts?

Whatever problems you are having could be numerous things. We need more info to help you.
