A tribute to chaslang

    I noticed that chaslang (the great malware geek) reached 33.000 posts with an average of 31 posts a day! I am sure that while I am submiting this thread teh number will increase. Anyone who wants to wish chaslang to reach 40.000 or thank him for malware fighting?

    He does an amazing job in there; I know I wouldn't have the patience with some of those people like he does.

    I've been trying to catch up but there is no way to catch up, Kodo was the closest now he's a couple thousand behind. :p

    Not only does chaslang post an average of 31 post per day he also takes time to create and update utilities we use in the malware forum so he does a lot for the users here. :)

    I know a few of thhose posts were for helping me....I appreciate all your hard work Chas, as do countless of others.

    Yes! Thanks! :) It is still my one and only avatar and I have no plans on changing it unless you come up with something better. ;)


    And again thanks to everyone for the support and appreciation! :) We all spend a lot of time in that forum helping and there is a huge amount of work that goes on behind the signs. There is also a tremendous amount of research and continuing education that goes on to help us keep on top of the malware fight.

    Chas, my friend you deserve all these congrats, for the length of time you put in on the removal of malware, some dont grasp how much time it can take out of your own personal time to do this, but your dedication is admirable and much appreciated my many users worldwide, who now have malware free PCs... well apart from the odd user who must like your words of wisdom as they come back for more ;)


    Kudos also goes to the other guys in that part of the forum too, BJ, SPD and Matt, plus the occasional appearance from others to lend a hand in keeping things going as its a team effort.

    Just by browsing some of the replies posted, it's easy to tell he's got the patience of a Saint with us lesser mortals.

    My own period of guidance from the man is still continuing but, chuffin 'eck (as we say round here), it's so much appreciated.

    Dont forget Shadow_Puter_Dude and BJ_Garrick and Matt Chugg as well. Chaslang oversees and posts more then the others, but these 3 guys also put in a lot of time and effort. All FOUR of them for FREE! Cant find BETTER people.

    You guys know how much I appreciate you :)

    Again thanks everyone for the kudos! As a I said in other messages WE all appreciate the recognition. As MA said it is a group effort and we all work hard at this and we work well together. While BJ, SPD, and Matt do active support work in the fourm, we also get great help and support from Halo, MA, & AbbySue. And when one of us takes a much need vacation or is absent for personal reasons, everyone else pulls together to pickup the slack which is not easy to do since the forum runs at 90 mph (144.84 kph for your metric based people. I like accuracy :D ) 24 hours a day.
