Running Windows with No Services

 

Is there an estimated performance increase by shutting these services down?I'm currently overclocking my system "sig" at 245 fsb atm,when I'v reached the limit of the hardware it seems the next logical step,turn the os into an xbox,any thoughts? ,also how much of that performance would be lost if I wanted to keep networking alive,no file sharing just lan gaming.

Thanks!bookmarked,the gaming setup is exactly what I wanted,I'm just starting to set up a network using 2 comps side by side for online gaming,I need them both tip top,especially the older one,I havnt bothered before because nothing has been able to slow my comp down,I played the riddick demo the other day though with pixel shader 2++,it was slow,so now I'm in overclocking mode.
