She's still feeling pretty crummy; she has a doctor's appointment scheduled in the near future and hopefully this is nothing more than a bad time related to her auto accidents some time ago.

You folks ought to be pitying me; I cut myself shaving this morning and left a blood trail all 137 miles to work

 

Was that before or after her cooking?

Maybe you should try cooking for her if she's not feeling well?

Wups! Missed you MrP. Doing OK.

 

You're all so sweet..thanks for thinking of me. For the most part I'm still not functioning to well. Head is killing me and I'm in perpetual bed-spin mode most of the time which makes me get sick. Riding in the car is a nighmare...can't handle the movement and added to that, I'm one of those people who gets great pleasure out of just looking around at the trees, flowers, birds, etc. and if I so much as move my eyes or turn my head the bed-spin feeling intensifies as does the nausea.

Ugh...that older woman in the Dr's office all those years ago was right when she said I'd have trouble from the whiplash injuries for the rest of my life.

Chris has been absolutely wonderful...he's been massaging my upper back and neck every day to help loosen up the muscles. Sometimes it brings me to tears cuz it hurts so bad no matter how gentle he is, but it does give me some relief for a little while. The headache and dizziness don't go away, but I can at least focus a little better for a while and the nausea eases off.

@Abby..... that sounds a total nightmare hunnie! I'm sorry you are going through this...dontcha hate those older women in doctor's offices that know it all before you even get to see the doc

I think they should have had Sting sing to the ISS....."Giant steps are what you take...walking on the moon....." or maybe even The Firm's "Star Trekking across the Universe" song
