abcjump

My husband's computer has some sort of malware that I'm pretty certain is abcjump. Because of nature of it I can't do the readme run me or even go on this site with it. Anything that requires me going to almost any website is impossible because it jumps me to something entirely different whenever I click a link. he's running AVG, but a very outdated version. How do I get by this problem to run teh read me run me (Which I think should fix the problem).

If anyone knows of a way to help I'm willing to try whatever it takes.

Do you have a portable USB device or something similar you can use to transfer programs from the computer you're currently using to the infected one? If you do please transfer this file to the infected computer: ComboFix

Then please run the program and try to post the accompanying logs.

Please simply create this notepad file, then transfer it like you did before to the other computer and run it from there.

1. Close any open browsers.

2. Close/disable all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix.

3. Open notepad and copy/paste the text in the quotebox below into it:

Save this as CFScript.txt, in the same location as ComboFix.exe

Refering to the picture above, drag CFScript into ComboFix.exe

When finished, it shall produce a log for you at C:\ComboFix.txt which I will require in your next reply.
