I have used MajorGeeks before and I know how things need to be followed. I need help and I am tired and confused. I have followed to the best of my ability, your malware removal guide, and once again, like I did before, I didn't write down what I did, and what was said. So here goes, please be patient with this newbie.

I went to the website that you suggest for a free cleaning of About:Blank, and the about blank page came up. 3X I have done a Hijack this, but don't pick up on anything for sure. Could you help me.

about:blank hijacks rarely occur now a days. Thus your problem may not really be a hijack. It just may be related to settings you have or the fact that you are having difficult accessing certain sites. When exactly does this occur? Does it occur for every website you try to access?

If you want to check your PC for malware, please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.

READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide
    • If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going.
    • Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not.
    Notes:

    1. If you run into problems trying to run theREAD & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode. You can run steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:
    2. If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools on another PC and burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.

It only comes up in the new google web page, i forgot the name, and it happens when i try to use your links to get rid of it. I think maybe that you are right in that it is something else. I will do these other things and then see if it still does it. Thanks. Confused
