I had written to chaslang Sunday night and explained to him that I have the ever dredded About:Blank hijacker. I was told by him to go to the "do not post until you read this page", which I did. I followed it as best as my computer would let me. A few things I couldn't do: Unzip HTJ 1.99, I can only get the 1.98 version to unzip. Run Trend Micro's scan. I have used this in the past and never had a problem with it, but this time the page keeps closing down. I also could not do any online scan while I was in safemode networking support. I ran those while in regular mode, McAfee Avert didn't detect anything, (CWS Shredder, Spybot S&D didn't either). The others I ran in safemode said they found it and were removing it. I reboot in regular mode, and there it is, back again. I remove all the R1, R0, and BHO with (no name), and they come right back. I feel like I am chasing my tail, and in the mean time I have all these spyware programs on my computer now that don't seem to be helping. I need help, I so do not want to reformat!! You guys all seem to now how to get rid of this, and any help I can get is so appreciated!!
