about:home

    Hi there,

    Is about:home a browser hijacker? I know about:blank exists and had that about 4 years ago but I think about:home is a new one.

    I recently had problems with my internet when I uninstalled an IE plugin (it was a HTML document located in system 32 and the file name had alot of
    %% in it) and then I couldn't get online. The person who sorted it out installed Internet Explorer 7 and now I can get online. It is since then that I have noticed about:blank coming up in the top left hand browser of IE 7.

    Would be grateful if you could help.
