    Not sure from looking at your screen shots, but if you will look in the task bar you should have a small blue icon that has a symbol that looks something like this ((o))

    Click on that and it should open the sound driver and adjustment window for your sound card on the tab "general" you should see your board listed and that should let you know if this download will work.

    Here is a screen shot of mine showing the info you need.

    Whenever i download one of those drivers, and i try to open it, it says that the files corrupted. Ive tried a few of the versions, and they all do the same thing.

    Well i have checked all the files and they are OK and digitally signed so you will need to try to establish what is going wrong your end. Do you use a download manager if so try not using it ?

    I was downloading them through Firefox, and i dont know how to disable its download manager, so im going to try IE and see if that will help.

    Sigh, i hate double posting, but its not letting me edit.

    I downloaded it again using IE, but it still doesnt work. When i try to run it, it says it doesnt have a valid digital signiture, and if i run it anyways, it gives me the same message about the file being corrupted.

    Ive tried that too. It downloads, and i can run it, but it doesnt DO anything. It still says that my sound cards missing a driver.

    hey can you find a version of realtek ac97 for me?I also have it and I need a update but Im not sure which versions will work on my computer.here's my system info:
