I am running windows vista and really don't mind it but for some reason I am unable to access folders that I should be able to such as "Documents and Settings". It is my laptop, I am the only user my account is obviously an administrator account. I also don't know if there is a "safemode" for vista. Anyone have this prob and solved it? Help....

    Canadianmade,

Try to navigate directly to the folder in question. In your case i'm assuming that would be c:\users\"your user name"\documents. I'm just thinking that maybe the "shortcut" to it could be damaged.

To get into the Windows Vista Safe mode, as the computer is booting tap your "F8 Key" which should bring up the "Windows Advanced Options Menu" . Use your arrow keys to move to "Safe Mode" and press your Enter key.

    Hope this helps.
