access is denied (external HD) .. pls help

First of all I must apologize if this topic had been posted (I did search, but could not find solutions ) ... btw, hi everyone; I am new here ^^

Here's my story :
I used to have a desktop computer (with winXP os), but it the mother board is broken (nothing wrong with HD) so I put HD in an enclosure making it external HD without formatting because I wish I can pull some important data from it later.

Here's the problem :
It seems that the data I want is in administrator's documents (pictures), and when I try to open it, it says "Access is denied"
I try sharing it, but still ... nothing good. also tried some software like "unlocker", but still .. didn't work. Is there anyway to access it?

So ... please help me >-<
