Account Hacking problem

Hi I am new to this forum a friend directed me here, so hello to all !

I have a problem, I have had an account hacked for a game I play.

The computer Software details are:
-XP
-bit defender
-mcafee
-avg
-IE6 (not used but apparently this is not a safe version)
-Mozilla (used for all browsing)

I wanted to download the game and reinstall it but the server was in maintenance so instead I went to filefront and perhaps another website to check if they had the game also. I did not visit any malicious sites that I am aware of.

Eventually the server maintenance was finished and I logged in www.joymax.com and downloaded the client. The Joymax website requires you to enter your username/password before you can get to the downloads page, so I did.

I played on my account for a little bit and logged off. Then 2 days later I am hacked.

I have scanned my pc with(all came up clean) :
-nod32
-avg
-mcafe

I ran Hijackthis and here is my log file:

:My conclusions:

I am really not 100% sure about how this has happened... I am not even 20% sure really.... I found my items in game being sold by a guy who looked like he has hacked a LOT of people.

After talking to many people they say IE6 may have been the problem it could of let a Java applet or a cookie store my user/pass and cause me to get hacked.

I would be greatful for any ideas you guys have. Thanx in advance!

We can check your PC for malware problems but we cannot do anything about an online game account that may have had user login info stolen. You will have to speak to the website that you log into and get your account info changed and be more careful how/where you get access to the servers from and what software you download and from where. Especially if you are downloading things via P2P or torrents.

If you wish to check your PC for malware, please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions. But while thee scans may find some issues, they probably will not find anything to help you with your online gaming isues since that is not a malware issue.

If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going.

Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not.

Notes:

If you run into problems trying to run the READ & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode. You can run steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:

If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools on another PC and burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.
