Hello, I just acquired an Acer Aspire 5515 and have discovered that I have no sound. I have checked the speaker volumn spot and they are on and at the highest volumn setting. I have went to any place in the control panel that I can think may have any info and found 0... so I came here...The only thing I can find is in the "computer" that says something about "Real Player", but I can't find anything else. Thanks for your help.

I have gone to the control panel and can't find the "Device Manager " spot. I have things for "sound", when I go there I 've looked at the speakers and they are on a very high setting- could have been blown??? The comp uses Realtek High Def. Audio Driver version 6.0.1.5657. Whatever that means... I thank you afor all the help.

Hi fellow , you have to follow an alternative way finding the Device Manager menu

Start - Run mmc devmgmt.msc - pushing Ok :wave
