Acer Aspire 5560 (15") couple issues after clean install

Hey guys,

Really hoping you can help me with this. A friend of mine has this laptop http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/model/LX.RNT02.057 which I did a clean install of Windows Ultimate 32 bit on.

First problem: can only display 1024 X 768 but the computer supports widescreen. I've installed all drivers from acer support website but nothing has fixed it at the moment.

Also, under Device Manager, I have a warning symbol at SM Bus Controller. I can't find the drivers for the SM Bus Controller anywhere and my friend can't find the drivers cd. Any help would be veeeeery appreciated. I'm sick of tearing my hair out over this thing.

 

K, I fixed the SM Bus Controller but it still seems as thought it's running in safe mode with low resolution...

 

Ok, just figured it all out. Driver was buried well within the folders
