Acer Aspire 9410 laptop whitescreening

I don't think this a software problem but my Acer 9410 is going to white screen, with feint rainbow colored lines, usually after moving mouse to bring display back up. Sometimes it will come back to normal after hitting cont+alt+del but only sometimes. I have replaced the LCD inverter. Do you have any suggestions?

 

I had the same problem With my Acer Extensa 5230,
Few basic steps to fix
1:update graphics drivers
2:Update O/S
3:If running McAffe Delete it, as they have had some problems in their lates updates.
Also those model acers had some problems in the registery files and the Hdd's So make sure its not a manufactures problem.
if that doesnt help let me no

 

I would test it on an external monitor- If it does not happen on external monitor, it would point to the screen.
