    Hey support forum.

I recently installed a new graphics card in the above PC model type as shown here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004XANP0U/ref=oh_details_o06_s00_i00

My main concern is that the card seems to be getting rather hot (60 degrees c+) even though it's on idle (as in not gaming) and when it did get tested on some games it appeared to run at 80-90 degrees which I spotted in like 5 mins thanks to the warning system and exited game to lower the temp.

Should the card be replaced with one that has a proper fan that will go under the vent or are the temp readings not telling the truth?

Saw a thread on here that referred to an Nvidia card 400 or 600 series also from ASUS and it had practically the exact same design on the card as this AMD/ATI one and was called safe, so is this one safe?

Think it was this thread - http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?p=1553712#post1553712

That thread refers to this design - http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb... Ready Video Card&x=20&y=24&tag=10xxx10081-21

Both card designs look pretty similar yes?

So anyway, new card needed? Or maybe some venting for the case? Hope you can help me out :) Any info needed just ask.

    From Chris
