Acer Aspire one screen black but powering up.

I've got a 2007 Acer Aspire One notebook and its been giving me a really strange problem. I had turned it off last night before bed, and this morning it decided to shit on me. I can hear the fan running, although its not consistent. The ac light is on, the lights are all on but the screen is black. Can anyone help me?

Do you try to connect with an external screen ? At the bottom of the laptop there is a sticker with the model number :wave

I haven't tried connecting it to a monitor yet. the model number is AOA 150-1570

you can try an external screen to ensure your screen in good ( to enable the signal in external screen you can push Fn - F4 a bottom with screen ) , also you must remove your ac , battery and cmos battery holding the power bottom for 1 minute , after that you can take all back trying to start up your machine , you are lucky because i have found this manual ( page 9 is the battery you must remove )

I've had the same problem before with an Aspire One. I followed this article and it resolved the issue for me.
