Well. I cant blame this one on the kids! i tried a system re install on my Acer AOA 150-1786, and forgot to make a back up copy of anything? Yep did it all on my own and feel really stupid! now i get nothing when i turn it on. Black screen only, with the power light on. nothing seems to work? I did this to rid a virus after trying everything listed on free ware. So, when everyone stops laughing because it is funny that i just forgot to make a back up??? Please, someone help me find a back up copy of anything that will work. Ive got an xp disc for my re install. thanx in advance for any help.:-o:-o:-o

If so and it did not work, then you might have to shop for a recovery CD. I do not know if Acer sells them.
I have a different model and a different version of Windows and the first thing I did was to make all my recovery DVDs.

Further information: I went to the http://us-store.acer.com/rcd/
site, out in my serial number and I can purchase recovery DVDs for under $20.
The site says they maintain these for about 2 years.
