    Hi everyone

This issue is occuring on my mom's laptop, so ill try to describe the issue at a high level first, maybe it's an easy one.

Her Acer Laptop cannot see the 5G Network (provided by Comcast), but her cellphone can see it.

Anyone know what could cause this?

    Thank you

Open a command prompt and type in
    Code:
    netsh wlan show drivers
Scroll down until you see radio types supported.
    What letters are behind 80211?

    Here's what each means.

If you don't see a or n doesn't have 5GHz enabled, that's why the laptop can't "see" the 5GHz network.

One of our Acers has a and the other does not.

And did it used to see the network and suddenly stop?
