Acer Predator Helios 300

Hows it going everyone i have a helios 300 the past few weeks its been beeping at me when its plugged in and then says running on battery then it reconnects its very much a pain in the ass and makes it were my laptop is no longer mobile what can i do to fix this.

before this happen i bought an aftermarket power pack so i could keep mine in my bag instead of disconnecting everything after maybe two weeks after is when this started happen

 

Does it do this if you use the original power supply?

 

now it does yes and with it the orange flashing light on the side of the laptop

 

I can only "guess" that the battery itself is failing now - perhaps just by coincidence, or the aftermarket supply damaged it.

Is the aftermarket supply the same voltage and at least the same current rating?

 

yes i got it because it was "suppose" to be for my laptop.
so you think a new battery might fix it then?

 

"Might" fix it is the operative word there. I sure cannot be for sure until trying it out.

Does the notebook run fine on the charger alone (with the battery removed)

@Digerati yeah it seems to run fine when on battery is running i have not taking the battery out of it though
