Acer Screen And Nothing

    Hi guys big issue me thinks

    Had dodgy power input socket for a while.
    Tonight got a blue screen with a qr code and some text about store exception then it shutdown.
    Tried a restart
    Cant get past the acer screen
    Aspire A717 w10
    tried battery reset hole - no joy
    hitting f2 and asking for boot default -no joy
    hitting alt f10 gives me an options screen however if I select options I get a log on screen saying Me but the pc does not accept any passwords I have used so will not proceed further
    Anything else I can try
    I was in middle of some work files and really need to get them off this pc before it dies completely

    Are you attempting to say that the model is Aspire A717 and runs Windows 10?

    Has this been fixed?

    Found this at the Acer site
    Power Drain and BIOS RESET
    1) Unplug the AC power adapter.
    2) Press and hold the Power button down until the unit goes off.
    3) Search for a pinhole that has a battery symbol next to it on the backside of your laptop, insert a small paperclip in the battery reset pinhole, press and hold it down for 25 seconds. Then release the paperclip and turn the unit back to normal position.
    4) When the unit is off completely, press the power to turn on the unit.
    5) Immediately keep on tapping the F2 to enter the BIOS.
    6) In the BIOS, press F9 to reset the BIOS to setup defaults.
    7) At the confirmation screen, press Enter for Yes to load the default configuration.
    8) Press F10 to save your changes, and restart the system. Select Yes and press ENTER to confirm.

    Hi yes W10 Aspire machine
    Had aleady tried the pinhole and bios reset without sucess.
    I managed to get in via Alt/F10 after "guessing" my old password
    Currently running a windows repair tool tweaking.com which I was advised from here sometime ago for another machine problem.
