   I created a acronis backup version on win xp home using acronis ver.9.0.2245 and the image is corrupt " it doesnt think its an acronis image. Any chance of gettin the data from is its a whole drive image.? the files extension is and shows up as a .tib

   Have you tried to use the Acronis Boot CD to validate the image and possibly explore the corupt .tib ?
