Acronis true Image Home 2010

Hello
When I safely switch the usb cable from my laptop to my desktop, Acronis recognizes this as a new drive to be protected, I think.It therefore leaves a big warning on the homepage that my system is not fully protected and needs to be backed up. Once I perform another, redundant backup the warning is gone.
This does not happen with Macrium on my laptop. I have tried switching with the pc off and also on the fly.
My question is, is there a way to avoid this persistent message when I plug into my desktop?
