Active Directory display name

Hi all - I recently closed the properties box on my active directory account without filling in the display name. When I reopened the properties on the account, the display name had auto filled as "khodgson". I have replaced this with my full name, but Exchange/Outlook continue to display my name on emails as "khodgson", even though the display name field in active directory has been filled correctly. Has anyone come across this problem before? Advice greatly appreciated. :confused

 

More info: I haven't rebooted the domain controller yet, but will do this tonight.
