Can you post a screenshot of your group policy management console with the containers expanded?

Thanks for you reply. I am attaching the screen shot of the GP console here. I created a group policy "Removable Device"for the OU "MJSOFTTECH". Also I created another OU "Network Admin". I added one machine in "Network admin". But i am not able to access removable device like pen drive in the machine under "Network Admin" and the machines under "MJSOFTTECH". I need to grant access of removable device to machines under "Network Admin"

please shed a light on this.

    Thanks in advance

everything looks ok from what i can see in the ss. What i would do is doublecheck the fiewall and desktop wallpaper policy to make sure either one of those are not set to block removable devices. You should also run the Group Policy Result wizard from the Group Policy Management console for the computer in the Network Admin OU. You may be able to spot the problem in the report it gives you.

    Thanks IrOnMaN for your help.

I have another issue with group policy. I set group policy for power management. I attached the screen shot with this post. My issue is that 2 or 3 machines got to sleep after the preferred time and never wakes by simply moving mouse or pressing keyboard. I need to Press the power button and it take some time to resume the window. All other machines goes to normal sleep and wakes up by simply moving mouse or keyboard. Please help me out this to change those 2 machines for simple sleep settings

    Thanks & Ragards

The only thing i could find about this is on the problem computers in device manager you can check the keyboard and mouse properties to see if you can enable them to wake up the computer. i checked on a random laptop and it did not have the power management tab at all but my desktop did so it may be hit or miss. Unfortunately i could not find a GPO that could control that particular setting.
