So hi all! Anyway, I wanted to play closecombat5 ( WWII tactic simulation adopted by the US Marines for training) and of course there is an issue with opening ports to play on-line.I'll bet my kids could do all this in a flash, but, I guess i should learn sometime. One of the game website's hyperlinks brought me to a freeware site describing "Aports" or "Active Ports" program which enables you to see what ports are open and what process is running on them, yeah I know it's like netstat, except you can query each port's user I.P. to see whois what and where. Handy if you are paranoid.
Now my Symantic anti-virus pops up and claims this is a hacking tool and is trying to quarantine it! Exciting eh? What's going on here? Would anybody out there running maybe "sandboxie" have the academic interest in downloading this GUI and letting me know the full story? And what-in-heck do they mean when they say it's a hacktool?

    Regards and thanks
    William
