Actor - Roy Scheider - dead at 75

Rather liked this actor...sorry to hear of his passing:

 

I heard of his passing yesterday but they never mentioned from what. I liked him too. Noticed in all the clips they showed of him he had a cigarette dangling from his lips, reminded me of myself years ago

 

Another movie great passes on . Apparently, the Multiple Myeloma was a complication of a previous Staph infection.

I hope the relatives got everything the right size and the undertakers didn't tell them anything needed to be bigger,that could have been awkward

Great actor,Long live Seaquest DSV.

 

That's too bad. I always enjoyed his acting.

And his line, "You're gonna need a bigger boat!" is one of my favorites.

He was a talented actor and a significant person for the new era of cinematography. 75 is a decent age. Though I wish he lived 5-10 years more, I should state that living up to 75 today is above average life-span

 

This made me very sad. Seaquest DSV was one of the staples of my teendom (the boy genius in the show, Jonathan Brandis, also died, and I didn't hear about it until years later) Roy had this personality that sucked you into whatever character he played and everything he was in he was wonderful even if the rest of the production was rather lacking.
