I just created a new skin for Ad-Aware SE called "Smile!". I thought it might help even a little bit, with the considerable amount of sadness and misery in the world at the moment. I hope you check it out and enjoy...

Before I try any, how easy is it to revert back to the "standard" AdAware "skin"?
Don't like experimenting, if I cannot "undo" what I have just done. Bazza

Yes you can undo. Do the following:

1. Downlad and extract the skin file too C:\Program Files\Lavasoft\Ad-Aware SE Personal\Skins

2. Open up Ad-Aware SE

3. Go to the configuring window icon

4. Look down and click on interface

5. Click on the Select Skin drop down menu

6. Select the skin you extracted (eg; Smile.ask)

7. Click proceed and it should apply

8. Just do steps 3-5 again too pick your skin if you want to change
