I just recently installed both programs onto my friends computer and i don't remember seeing this before, but, spybot after installation gave me a pop-up window saying it recognized ad-aware on the system and warned that i should customize ad-aware so that it doesn't detect and say that spybots definitions are actualy ads/spyware...anyone know how to do it so that ad-aware doesn't do this?
    thanks...

I never see this as a problem but you can select and deselect the drives and folders that you want Ad-Aware to scan. So deselecting Spybot's folder is possible. Just look at that Scanning Settings and select the item that has a folder icon next to it and is titled Select drives & folders to scan. Then unselect the Spybot folder.
