Ad served by Intelligent Adviser

    Hi,
    Thanks so much for any help. I stupidly downloaded a file on Limewire the other night and got zapped with the play CD and the fbrowsing Malware. . I deleted the programs from add remove programs that did not help they were still there. I ran norton and spy hunter they seemed to find the files and remove then but im still left with ads intelligent advisor when ever I access the internet I have looked thru program files and its not there. I just cant seem to get rid of this one. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Im running windows XP and IE 7.

    Uninstall Spy Hunter if you still have it installed. Then continue on with the below.

    Please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions. If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going. Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not.

    Note: If you run into problems trying to run the READ & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode. You can running steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:

    Hi,
    I read thru all the information you provided. I just have one question, and that would be am I going to have to purchase all of the spy ware programs you are suggesting that I download. Just asking as I know trial versions will show you what is there but they will not remove it?

    No you will not have to purchase anything. All the applications referred to in the Read and Run Me First are freeware and complete versions that will remove infections where appropriate or help to identify them so that our Authorized Malware Fighters will be able to instruct you how to remove them.
