adapter problem!!

hi im using my laptop because my desktop cant connect to internet..

i went to device manager and check the adapters there's 7 of them but 4 of them has a yellow mark on it.. there are

1.direct parallel
2.WAN miniport(L2TP)
3.WAN miniport (PPPOE)
4.WAN miniport(PPTP)

OS in dekstop is

windows xp sp3


pls help me

 

What brand computer is this? Do you have a driver cd? in device manager you can click on action, then scan for hardward changes and see if it reinstalls the adapters. I would check on the manufacter website for the drivers if you do not have them available download them from your laptop make a cd or put on a flash drive then get them to your desktop.

 

im not sure of the brand but in the CPU it says.xtyling...my mom lost all the drivers..i did what u said but noting is happening.im trying to uninstall those 4 but it says"Failed to uninstall the device. The device may be required to boot up the computer." . yes i wanted to put it in flash disk but i don't have one yet.
is there any way without using flash disk or cd?

 

your not sure of the brand? is it a Dell, Gateway, HP, IBM, Sony? I would check there websites or call them directly for support
