AdAware SE makes system crash

During a regular maintenance scan recently using AdAware SE, just moments after starting the scan the display showed new “critical objects”, seconds later my system crashed with a blue screen “fatal error”. The system rebooted normally but did the same thing when I tried another scan with AdAware. After another reboot scanning with Spybot Search and Destroy, Microsoft Anti Spyware and Norton Internet Security all turn up nothing. I was curious then since just prior to the problem I had updated AdAware so I did a system restore then rescanned with AdAware and without the latest update AdAware shows no problems. Online scans with BitDefender, Housecall and Panda all show no problems but Kaspersky indicated a trojan called Trojan-Clicker.Win32.Small.js I ran a search for the file and was able to delete it. My system has only two symptoms I can detect, it will still crash if scanned with the updated AdAware and more sinister is that if I try to scan with Norton in safe mode I can’t! To see if this problem was a bug in the AdAware update I did a scan on another computer with the updated AdAware and it passed with no crash or problems detected, it has the same operating system (XP PRO) as the computer in question. System=Pentium 4, 3.0ghz, 160 gb hd, 1gb RAM. Hope someone has a suggestion, thanks in advance for any assistance. A HiJack this log folllows.

I also need the logs from the online scans listed in the READ ME.

After you get the logs from the two online scans, see the below thread on how to install and run VundoFix.

Dear BJ, thanks for your response. I was able to resolve my problem working with another forum yesterday. You were right on target, it was a Virtumonde trojan. Thanks again for your assistance and patience helping a novice user, very much appreciated.
