adaware uninstall issue & rootkit log

    jarcher I can't handle a title

    been cleaing up lookin fer baddies. .lol

    and somehow I ended up with two ad aware in two locations
    (I am guessing and update reinstalled it to another)
    anyway
    it wouldn uninstall via add remove
    (couldnt open uninstall.log?)

    so I started deleting everything and planned to reinstall

    and I cant remove all of it

    even in safe mode

    I get prompts saying vx2cleaner is in use

    killbox. .nuttn

    any ideas?


    and can someone look at this log fer me?
    and explain it a little. . lol

    This is not a malware problem!

    Why are your running RootKit Revealer? It is used to uncover rootkits. The VX2Cleaner from Lavasoft is not rootkit.

    If you are going to reinstall your system anyway, why are you posting?

    If it would not uninstall via Add/Remove programs, it means someone corrupted the original installation. You could just use something like the below to remove it:
