add-ons & plug-ins for XP

    Just got an eMachine with XP SP3. It had been loaded with tons of games for young children, and lots of other garbage. I've removed most of the junk but for some reason there are no add-ons or plug-ins there. We cannot play any videos or anything. Anyone know which ones we need?

    Was this a donated computer? The fact that it's running Windows XP at this point in time puts you at serious risk of getting viruses or other malware if you go online with it. Only watch the videos from the optical drive (DVDs), not downloaded or streaming videos.
