I have a Microsoft Digital Media Pro keyboard which I purchased because of all the nifty shortcuts you can assign to the buttons with relative ease.

My problem: there doesn't seem to be a 'delete' function that I can assign to a button. Unlike my graphics tablet which I can customize the buttons for with keystrokes (like 'backspace', 'undo' etc)

Question: how can I assign the 'delete' command to a button on the keyboard? (I am reasonably computer literate but don't feel comfortable going into the registry )

Not sure what you mean. What about the 'delete' key?

    Thanks for replying.:)

I don't like using it where it is- I want to set the keyboard up to have certain functions like 'delete' on the left side of the keyboard. There are at least 8 buttons on the left side of the keyboard that can be programmed to execute commands normally accessed in the file menu or on a right click- but 'delete' isn't on the list of available commands.

Ah now I see. :D Got no clue what command it uses though. :(
