Adding PC to WG on MS Windows LAN

I recently had to replace a PC on my MS Windows Network.

After naming the PC and joining the same WG as the other PC's on my LAN, I find that I can fully access the other PC's from the new one, but none of them can access the new PC.

I've got the Windows firewall turned off. I've also enabled printer & file sharing via the networking "wizard".

When I am at one of the pre-existing PC's on the network, and try to add a drive on the new machine as a "network place" I can FIND the new PC as part of the WG right away, but when I click on it, the "OK" button remains grayed out and inactive.

    Ideas/suggestions?

    Thanks, guys.

Make sure you have actually shared something on the new pc.

Problem Solved: Altho Windows firewall was off, a reference on the ezlan.net site got me to check for other firewalls. Well, seems the new PC had McAfee AV (which I'd never used before) and THAT had a firewall running.
Shut down firewall...no more problem. THANKS ALL!
