Adding RAM

Upgrading from 512MB to 2GB of RAM, primarily to be able to edit video.

What should I expect? Should the Notebook become a lot faster, or will it only mean I can run more and/or bigger programs?

Is there anything I should tweak, like the Page File size (currently768MB)?

Thing will run a little faster and for page file it will change Automatically.

Interestingly enough the system didn't adjust the PF automatically. After consulting the Microsoft knowledge base I had to go in and specifically allow it to reset the PF size.

Definitely zippier now, previously had it stripped down for "Performance" (XP Home), now, even set for "Appearance", it is a lot snappier. It's like having a new computer, and we all know how enjoyable that is.

FWIW, I got the memory from Crucial.com - $48 for 2GB of RAM, incl.tax & shipping, quick delivery, good chat service, A+ recommendation.
