I have a dinosaur gateway pen III 450 mhz bus 100mhz 64 mb ram. Would a memory upgrade be cost effective for a speed increase? Should I consider oc? Thanks for any help.

Adding memory will improve the overall performance, but only to what the system is capable of. Meaning.......programs will load faster & you might notice the ability to multitask improve a bit, but that's gonna be the extent of it.

Overclocking is mostly pointless with that CPU. I have an old Gateway PII450 with 768megs of PC100 in it & yup it's still slow. hehe
