Adding to HOSTS file ???????

I've been lokking for a way to convert URL's / Hosts name like www.majorgeeks.com to IP addresses like 74.86.201.220, as well as Software, Hardware forums, etc., to speed up Internet lookups.

It is apparent that you cannot convert Forums unfortunately.
If you load in http://forums.majorgeeks.com/forumdisplay.php?f=21 for the Software Forum, the converter program does not succeed.

Check out http://www.hcidata.info/host2ip.cgi for a site that will convert Hosts names to IP addresses and vice versa.

Is anyone out there using their HOSTS file to find addresses faster, rather than the usual use of blocking certain sites?
