A few days ago I noticed my firewall was shut off, trying to turn it back ob results in it shutting right back off, I figured it needed an update so I tried to connect to the internet and nothing. Searching the web on my mobile lead me to here, following instructions from "windows 7 no firewall access no internet & more" then "vista & windows 7 malware removal /cleaning " then windows repair again. All seems to be going well, I tried to connect to the internet got no connection & my firewall turned off. So alas I turn to you gurus of ones & zero's. Mobile is being difficult in attaching logs, trying in a separate post.

Edit: mobile straight refuses to attach logs, hopefully I can get to a working computer soon to post the logs. Also booting in safe mode with networking I'm unable to access the web. Thanks!

Didn't think I could log on by tethering my un-effected pc with my mobile device, but here I am and here are my logs. RK reports should be the most recent ones, but I should have the logs from the first scan of it...mixed with the logs from this pc (I ran RK on both pc's)

Run this and attach the results.

    Using ESET's Online Scanner

    also...

http://imageshack.us/a/img841/7292/thisisujrt.gif Please download Junkware Removal Tool to your desktop.
    • Shut down your protection software now to avoid potential conflicts.
    • Run the tool by double-clicking it. If you are using Windows Vista or Seven, right-mouse click it and select Run as Administrator.
    • The tool will open and start scanning your system.
    • Please be patient as this can take a while to complete depending on your system's specifications.
    • On completion, a log (JRT.txt) is saved to your desktop and will automatically open.
    • Attach JRT.txt to your next message.

I am unable to use ESET's scanner, as I stated, I am unable to access the web in either safe mode or normal start up. (re-confirmed) Here is JRT.txt.

According to your logs, your firewall and internet are ok. Hmm....

Download Windows Repair by Tweaking.com and unzip the contents into a newly created folder on your desktop.
    • Now run Repair_Windows.exe by double clicking on it ( if you are running Vista or Win 7, use right click and select Run As Administrator)
    • Now select the Start Repairs tab.
    • The click the Start button.
    • Create a System Restore point if prompted.
    • On the next screen, click the Unselect All button to first deselect all repairs.
    • Now select the following repair options:
      • Reset Registry Permissions
      • Reset File Permissions
      • Register System Files
      • Repair WMI
      • Repair Windows Firewall
      • Remove Policies Set By Infections
      • Repair Winsock & DNS Cache
      • Repair Proxy Settings
      • Repair Windows Updates
      • Set Windows Services To Default Startup
    • Now on the lower right side check the box to Restart/Shutdown System When Finished
    • Then make sure the Restart System radio button is enabled.
    • Shutdown any other programs that you are running now before continuing.
    • Now click the Start button.
    • Be patient while the tool repairs the selected items.
    • It should reboot automatically when finished.

After reboot, check to see if your firewall is working.

I regret to report it is not resolved, here are some fresh logs if you wouldn't mind checking again. I don't seem to have the junkware removal tool any longer but if need be I'll download it again, but am pressed on time at the moment. The first RK report showed nothing along with MB & MG, I ran RK again and it came back with 6 files.
Edit: I have ran windows repair several times, either stand alone and after the other scans, ccleaner ect.

You should not be deleteing anything with roguekiller unless i instruct you to.

I am still not seeing any malware and I cannot see the cause for your firewall and internet to be down. Can you temporarily uninstall Mcafee and see if there is any change?

I had a feeling it could have been the culprit. Sometimes it's like that...

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware.
    2. If we had you use ComboFix, uninstall ComboFix (This uninstall will only work as written if you installed ComboFix on your Desktop like we requested.)
      • Press and hold the Windows key http://forums.majorgeeks.com/chaslang/images/Windows_Logo_key.gif and then press the letter R on your keyboard. This opens the Run dialog box.
      • Copy and paste the below into the Run box and then click OK. Note the quotes are required
      • "%userprofile%\Desktop\combofix" /uninstall
        • Notes: The space between the combofix" and the /uninstall, it must be there.
        • This will uninstall ComboFix and also reset hidden files and folders settings back to Windows defaults.
    3. Go back to step 4 of the READ ME and renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it.
    4. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis. If you don't see it or it will not uninstall, don't worry about it. Just move on to the next step.
    5. If running Vista or Win 7, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    6. Goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click ( if running Vista, Win7, or Win 8 Right Click and Run As Administrator ) on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    7. If we had you download any registry patches like fixme.reg or fixWLK.reg (or any others) and running MGclean.bat did not remove, you can delete these files now.
    8. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    9. If you are running Win 7, Vista, Windows XP or Windows ME, do the below:
      • Refer to the cleaning procedures pointed to by step 6 of the READ ME
for your Window version and see the instructions to Disable System Restore which will flush your Restore Points.
      • Then reboot and Enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.
    10. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
