addoubleclick.net

    on some web pages when i hit the back button on IE i get www.addoubleclick.net. on the lower right hand bar and then 127.0.0.1 (which is my computer)This brings me back to the same page i was just on.Then I have to click the back button 2 times to get back to the previous page.I have run all the recommend scans(and found nothing) other then in safe mode.I have googled addoubleclick and found nothing.Any thoughts??

    This can't be ZA blocking out some sort of stuff??I doubt it.

    Doubleclick is just a cookie! How do you have your Security settings configures in Internet Explorer and in ZoneAlarm?

    Security in IE is set up as suggested in step 6 of "How to Protect yourself from malware"
    ZA free is set for high.Except for program control that can only be set to medium.In ZA under the firewall/zones tab my IP address is listed.
    I run cc cleaner all the time??

    What are the Privacy control setting in ZoneAlarm set to? I'm not sure what the free version has on this tab but I have the paid Pro version and there are three things to set:

    Cookies Control
    Ad Blocking
    Mobile Code Control

    Which items do you have and what are they set to?

    Which OS do you have and have you looked at what lines are setup in your Hosts file?
