Am using Windows 98SE. For some reason, my computer's time clock does not keep the time accurate after I log off for the day. I have to reset it every morning. The date also tends to change. I am wondering how this happened but more importantly, how can I fix the problem so the time will automatically show without my input each day? Thanks in advance for any help on this!

Most likely the battery on your mobo is dead, you can get the model # off teh battery and get a replacement at radioshack.

As splitt3r says, could be a dead or dying mobo battery.

I use Neutron to keep my time spot on

Atomic clock synchronizer Simplest, smallest program ever. Takes around 5-6 secs to update your clock, depending on how quick you press “Synchronise”. The one I use. So simple, so quick. Bazza
