I recently installed the restoration program and was wanting to use it to try to recover some family home videos I accidentally deleted. Needless to say I am disgusted with myself about this....I have no other way to replace them! But when I am going to run the program it is stating I need to log onto administrator, well I am the administrator and that is what I am logged on as. So I am stuck! Any help would be appreciated. :cry

    Hi

Which Windows version are you using?

If Vista then even though you are logged in as Admin your not the full Admin (this is by design) so to run a program as full Admin right click its shortcut or .exe and choose Run as Administrator.

Or could also try one of these

and with all data recovery dont save the recovered files to the same hard drive as you're recovering from save to USB Pen or CDRW/DVDRW or 2nd hard drive or external hard drive, as saving to same hard drive can overwrite the next files to be recovered as deleted files while not fully deleted have been flagged as free space so will be used next.
