Question thrown up for grabs...there's a 30-day trial offer to download & use the adobe acrobat 6.0 professional. Is there a free download of this somewhere? Is this product a must only "purchase" software product or would someone offer it up as a freebee?

Easy answer NO as Acrobat 6 Pro is US$449.00 don't think they are going to give that one away easily.

If you dont need to convert documents to PDF format and just want to read them there is Acrobat Reader 6 which is free

Thanks HALO....got the reader just fine but I had a need to type into & save the data. Got the 30 day tryout installed but had to disable some XP features according to the fact sheet Adobe sofeware puts out to their tech help. Not sure what problems that will cause down the road but since I did the disable, the rest of the tryout version was allowed to complete it's install.
