    Hi
Mom was having issues with her pc. I unistalled Chromium, NowYou SeeIt viewer, and Onestop Protection from her PC. Ran Maleware bits removed 8 other items, ran CC cleaner and did a full Virus Scan.

But something is still causing adobe flash player to need to be reinstalled every time she reboots. It works fine before reboot, but doesnt actually show on list of installed programs. Same thing happens when using Chrome browser.

I will list the specs to her pc in detail. (On my way back to hers now) Apologies, only just realized that I left my clipboard on her desk.

Shes running Windows 7 64 bit, thats all I remember. Banged my head on this for hours yesterday and havent a clue what could be wrong. So the plan was to run more maleware stuff today.

    Will update ASAP

From what you say it is very possible you still have Malware on that system.
To be sure carry out the steps in this guide:
Read & Run Me First Malware Removal Guide

When you have completed all the steps you can then - and only then - post a new thread in the Malware Removal Forum (not here) and a trained malware expert will advise you further. If it is NOT malware, they will refer you back to this forum

    Good luck

So Im Batma...I mean I back!

Moms Pc Has the following specs.

    Gateway sx2855 PC
    Intel Corw i3 2120@3.30Ghz

I tried to run MsFix it, but it didnt show Adobe flash on the programs list as was unable to help me.
Ive unistalled Flash using their Unistaller and installed from thier site directly.

I would suggest some general standard maintenance steps:
    1. Use CCleaner SLIM
In its DEFAULT settings, run the Cleaner and remove all temp files.
Next in its 'Registry' section run at least 2 scans (or until zero issues are found) and choose the 'Fix all issues' each time, making sure you save a back up somewhere convenient each time.
    Restart the system.
    2. Run sfc /scannow from an administrator command prompt, and scroll down in this guide to get a TEXT file of its report
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/kb/929833
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/kb/929833#bookmark-cbs log
The text file will show if it repaired any proboems, or if it found corrupt files it could NOT repair. If that last thing happens you can post the text document here so we can see them.
    3. Run Check Disk:

    Flash Uninstaller
    Code:
    http://download.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/support/uninstall_flash_player.exe
When you paste the url into a browser, you will get a download popup for the uninstaller exe file. Run it and flash will be gone from IE.

In non-IE browser, except chrome, you have to go to plugins. Find it and first disable it, then it can be removed. Close the browser, reopen and check plugins to be sure it is no longer there.

The standard official windows Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller will remove ALL versions as long as all browsers are closed when run. I've used it many times. There is no need to go into Firefox or Opera directly. It's very simple.
A system should always be restarted when uninstalling a program. That is the action that ensures the uninstall is completed.

    Hi
Thank you all for the help. Followed your directions Max. No errors were found. Im uploading the sfc.txt file for you here. Even though it seems to be blank. Will try to re install flash at this time.
:) Printer issue resolved. Usb wasn't secure.

It should not be blank, even if it finds no errors.
Did you run sfc /scannow with an ADMINISTRATOR command prompt?
I suggest you run it again.

SFC found no errors, hence sfcdetails will be empty. There's no need to run SFC again at this time.

Good to know - I have never ever come across a blank sfc text doc. The cbs log is never empty. You would have thought it wouldn't drop a text doc on the desktop if empty.

No errors sfc scannow.jpg So actually it does provide a scfscannow text document that is not blank, even if no corruption found:
Here are a screenshot of the 'no errors found' and the actual text file which is clearly not blank/empty. Since the cbs log is never ever empty it isn't logical for a text doc to be loaded to the desktop that is blank. Makes no sense.
So, if the OP can confirm, without doubt, that in the command prompt window it stated there were no corruptions, fine. If not I still think they should run it again to be SURE.

    Hi all
Just a quick update. Issue resolved, but not in the way Id hoped. Was unable to get flash to take. So I attempted to do a repair. Window would hang at- Attempting to Load Start Up Items- consistently. So we ended up having to wipe her pc, and then reinstall everything.

This fixed the issue. ( And made my head explode. ) Thank you for all of your help.
