adobe reader

Is there any new versions out yet (free) currently i have 6.0 is this the latest version

 

The direct answer to your question is,no,there is Adobe Reader 7. And it's HUGE!!!

 

were do i get it from and is it free ?

 

i cannot get it as i am windows me

 

Just use the latest compatible one.

I've seen Acrobat 7 (not reader but the full program) and it looks almost identical to my Acrobat 6.

If you're unhappy with 6 for some reason or having issues then try the one in Star17's link.

Reader 6.0.0 is awful.

Get 6.0.2 if you don't already have it. Yeah, it's huge, but it's the most compatible, especially if you use IE.

**Install Hint** Make sure to remove any and all versions you have installed, then restart your PC prior to installing the updated version.

**Hint #2** DO NOT install Adobe Reader by using their Download manager. Unless of course you want even more bloat.

 

A great big Thankyou Star! I downloaded the PDF reader and it is simply brilliant to use in comparison with Adobe Bloat!.
